Frequently Asked Questions

interlüde is a space for human connection. We create thoughtful online and in-person experiences where you can slow down, recharge, and meet people while doing a creative activity. The idea is to erase the pressure to perform or be anything other than yourself. Think of it as a pause, a reset, shared with curious people.
Everyone. Seriously. No need to be extroverted, experienced, or outgoing. Just bring a little curiosity and show up as you are.
Most participants are in their mid-20s to early 40s and based in Berlin, but you’ll meet people from all over the world, both online and in person. The only thing we ask is respect and care for others. Read our Community Guidelines, cause it matters.
interlüde is made up of different spaces, each with its own feel.
Besides our one time events, we offer the following recurring sessions for our communities:
Sprachcafé: Relaxed weekly German practice (Mondays, 19:00 Berlin time), 4xs per month online over Discord.
Early founders: An accountability meeting tailored for early startup founders, where we complement skills and share struggles. If you are interested, you can fill this form, and more info will follow.
Women’s circle: We bring sisterhood back, by gathering, hearing, and supporting each other along the way. Sign up here.
Recurring gatherings are free to try once a month, and after that, you can subscribe for €7/month to join every week, or contribute to the community.
Probably not. Most people feel nervous at first, and that’s completely normal. Our sessions are designed to ease that: we start gently, often in small groups, with plenty of space to arrive just as you are.
There’s never pressure to do anything or share more than you’re comfortable with.
We build the space around respect for your boundaries.
Often, yes. We don’t force outcomes, but we do create conditions where real connections can grow: openness, curiosity, a bit of vulnerability, and people who actually care. Friendships tend to happen naturally from there.
Choose a workshop that speaks to you, and follow the steps in the description. If it’s a one time event, you can grab a ticket, and all details will follow via Email.
If it’s a recurring session, you can try it out, and if you wanna sign up for it long-term, you will need to either subscribe or collaborate within the community to keep things balanced. Questions? Our team is here to help.
It depends on what works for you:
Free: Join our Discord community and attend a few free trial sessions in any community to get a feel for us,.
Subscribe: €7/month gives you access to 4 workshops per month in a community of your choice (e.g., 4 Sprachcafé sessions). You can pause or cancel at any time via Stripe’s Customer Portal.
Collaborate: Volunteer for about 3 hours a month to organize, build something, or share skills, and you’ll get free access to your chosen community’s workshops plus all the community perks. No experience needed, we guide you.
Events: You can always just attend a single event. For those, you will need to purchase a ticket. All the information will follow up via Email after that.
Please note: If cost is genuinely a barrier, just reach out. We’ll find a way.
We only collect what’s needed for organizational purposes, to get you the relevant info you need to attend the workshop. This mainly applies to your Discord Username and Email. Optionally, you can also receive updates on our events and news via our newsletter.
Check our Privacy Policy for full details.
Life happens. If you booked via a platform (like Eventbrite), cancel there. Otherwise, just reach out.
Refunds: Available up to 48 hours before the event. Check the Refund Policy for detailed info.
Donations go directly toward supporting the project, so they aren’t refundable.
Subscriptions: If you can’t manage one of the monthly sessions, you keep your slot and can always attend another one at a later date. If you wish to cancel fully the monthly subscription, please head to the Stripe Customer Portal.
For one time events: Please try to arrive on time or even better, 5 minutes early.
These experiences are carefully built from the start, and late arrivals disrupt the flow.
For monthly workshops: Usually yes! Just give us a heads up and we’ll do our best to help.
We take this seriously. We have clear Community Guidelines, active moderation, and support available during and after every session. Online, we sometimes keep cameras off so people feel more comfortable being honest. In person, we follow the same principles: respect, consent, and awareness. If you ever feel uncomfortable, you can reach out anytime: before, during, or after a session.
Without cameras, people tend to listen more deeply, share more honestly, and feel less judged. For us, it’s less about how you look and more about how you connect. We apply the same principles to the in-person gatherings.
It lets us build different spaces and experiences in one place, and you control your privacy and how you interact. It’s practical, and it works to gather the entire community.
Sure! Here’s what to do:
1. Install Discord, preferably on a desktop or tablet.
2. Check the Discord “Beginner’s guide” if you need guidance.
3. Join the interlüde server by using this link.
4. Once inside the server, you can write in the #help channel directly.
5. If everything above fails, you can also use our contact form.
All three work! “Interlude” means a pause, a moment in between: exactly what we create.
“interlüde” is our German-flavored version. “interluede” is the practical online spelling. Same idea, different outfits.
We love that! Reach out. We’re always open to collaborations and new formats.
Whether you want to volunteer or co-create something, let’s talk.
You don’t have to be a certain type of person to belong here. Just bring a bit of curiosity, and you’re always. welcome. ✨
