The project
interlüde is a community-driven mission project based in Berlin, open to Berliners, expats, and newcomers. Basically, anyone seeking connection and growth.
We foster cooperation and integration through human connection and intentional development. Think of it as a skill trade: you share what you’re good at, and get support in areas you want to grow.
Through workshops, language cafés like the Sprachcafé, gatherings, and digital products, we are building a social ecosystem where the community profits directly from supporting itself, while learning how to turn strangers into active supporters and how online spaces can actually grow humanity.
The vision
More than a community, we aim to create a cooperative where everyone can help shape their own future. Whether you subscribe to a group, organize a workshop, offer support, or help behind the scenes, there’s a way for you to get involved: by subscribing or through community work.
We welcome all kinds of participation, so you can contribute in the way that suits you best. We sustain equality while fighting loneliness by building our own support systems and the spaces and opportunities we might not originally be granted.
As more people join and contribute to the ecosystem, the community will gain more power and a broader reach, allowing us to open doors together that were too heavy for just one person to open.
We believe that we are more together than apart.
The team
Marisa Charepe Dias started interlüde in the summer of 2025, after noticing how many people felt isolated despite living in a lively city. Soon enough, Fernando Escalante joined her vision, and both started collaborating.
Then Mateusz, Effey, Keaton and Svet joined our collaborators team, which allowed us to host, online and in person, more than 70 workshops in 2026.
We are currently a 200-member community, which benefits from the behind-the-scenes support of many quiet people. To all of those: thank you! Also, a special mention to Sofia Henriques for capturing our memories and to Marvin for always being there!
